Sea Spirit

(2020 – 2021)

Scotland, land of the most famous whiskeys, inscribes its mark on them as on its inhabitants, showing the characteristics of each terroir in each of its spirits.

The Scottish coasts, bathed by the North Sea, the Atlantic Ocean and the inland seas -Sea of the Hebrides and El Minch- in addition to its almost 800 islands, offer an ideal setting for the establishment of its distilleries, which both in their architecture as in their spirit, they carry the maritime aromas so characteristic of those areas, to the whole world.

"Sea Spirit" is the series of paintings inspired by the landscapes that surround the coastal distilleries, and that also draws on the adventurous, conscientious and conservationist spirit that characterizes the essence of many of these distilleries.

One more way to reflect the character of whiskey, through its environment and those who take care of the wonderful natural resources that our Mother Earth gives us to continue enjoying in all its forms.
