Porteño Filleting

A few months ago I began my journey of learning the art of "Porteño Filleting", an artistic style born in Buenos Aires at the end of the 19th century, declared an intangible cultural heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.

In this series, in addition to studying the basic forms and techniques of fileteado, I set out to pay homage to whisky, combining a typical fileteado drawing with different allusions to the world of whisky, its culture and distilleries.

Me encanta poder unir mis pasiones y conectar la cultura de mi país con otras culturas a través de mis creaciones.
Creo que el arte, como el whisky, acercan a las personas, creando nuevas formas de estar más cerca, más aún en los tiempos que corren.
