Ballet

Ballet

«Ballet» - Dance Shows of the Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón, directed by Mtro. Mario Gallizzi.

Within the framework of these two ballet shows, I was commissioned to create the scenographic background that would accompany both presentations.

For this, I painted five canvases in a series that I called «Dancing in the sky», in which you can see dancing couples performing pirouettes in different skies, representing my way of feeling dance: an elevation spiritual to another dimension through movement and music.

Exposición del Curso de Realización Escenográfica del Teatro Colón

Exhibition of the Scenographic Realization Course of the Colón Theater

Group exhibition of the Scenographic Realization Course of the Higher Institute of Art of the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires.

I was invited to participate in the exhibition that the Scenographic Realization Workshop did in Rosario, Santa Fe.

A beautiful experience in which, once again, reproductions and original works were combined, both in painting and sculpture and modeling.

Rosario, always so close to Buenos Aires, and ready to share its magnificent architecture.

We were received with the best attitude, where art was experienced from its different expressions, in a weekend of exchange of ideas, culture and creativity.

Los grandes y sus raíces

The Greats and their Roots

In 2004 a tribute was made to our artists, recognizing the professional trajectory of great actors, writers, musicians and visual artists, descendants of different immigrant communities, who excelled in their artistic careers and laid the foundations for subsequent generations to be able to continue your work.

In this context, I was commissioned, together with another artist, to create and make a large 28 x 8 meter backdrop, where immigrant communities and the most prominent artists of the 20th century were represented.

It was a huge challenge, but one that we managed to carry out from start to finish in 5 days, working non-stop for more than 10 hours a day.

It has been a great satisfaction to be able to see this work realized and enjoy the beautiful show that excellent artists from different disciplines provided.

The music and dance show was organized by the Government of the City of Buenos Aires and was carried out for the full benefit of the House of Theatre and the Favaloro Foundation.
