El último adiós

The last goodbye

The last goodbye

Serie: Out of Series
Technique: Acrylic on canvas
Size: 50 x 50 cm
Year: 2023

Inspired in a photo by @mamaartphotos at Köyliönjärvi
In the loving memory of Omar Osvaldo García.

I finished this painting the night before my father passed away, Thursday August 17, just three days ago.
As I painted it, I knew I was leaving the image of a farewell in my work, although I didn't think it was this.
Her soul took flight and finally rests in peace, her essence is finally free and the best of her spirit remains in me.
This is my tribute to our last goodbye, the memory of him will always live in me, like a sky lit by sunlight illuminating the horizon.

Momento de expansión (Tríptico)

Moment of Expansion (Triptych)

Moment of Expansion (Triptych)

Serie: Out of Series
Technique: Acrylic on canvas
Size: 90 x 100 cm
Year: 2021

Inspired by a photo of Galaxy Echoes of Pelican Nebula ..
Dedicated to Kathia Osorio with all my love as a homage to our friendship.

Expanding is growing, reaching places beyond what is imagined, transcending one's own limits.
This moment finds us in that situation, and that is what this painting represents: a point from which there is no return, an inertia that propels new horizons, from the center of our being.
Moment of expansion, a magical present, which projects creative energy without limits.

Blue Bird (Triptych)

Serie: Out of Series
Technique: Acrylic on canvas
Size: 90 x 100 cm
Year: 2021

Inspired by a photo from Juuso Hämäläinen in Finnish Lapland.
Dedicated to Kathia Osorio with all my love as a homage to our friendship.

Blue Bird is a poem that my great friend Kathia Osorio wrote when we were classmates, and that today became a painting, through my art.
It represents a life cycle, a constant evolution, a rebirth.
It is the inner voice that guides the steps towards the best destination, transmuting energies and illuminating the conscience.
Thank you for trusting me, putting creative wings on our great friendship.

Reflejos de un otoño con lluvia

Reflections of an autumn with rain

Reflections of an autumn with rain

Serie: Out of Series
Technique: Acrylic on canvas
Size: 40 x 50 cm
Year 2020

Inspired by a photo of German Brahim in Colón, Province of Buenos Aires.

Sometimes a puddle of rainwater reveals an image without time, or takes us to a memory of childhood, where brushes duel with madness between laughter and challenging looks.

However, autumn always invades spaces with magical colors and invites us to look at life from another place.

Ave Fénix

Serie: Out of Series
Technique: Oil on canvas
Size: 40 x 50 cm
Year: 2007

The Phoenix is a huge bird engulfed in flames and orange-red plumage, like fire.

It is a magical and fabulous being that has been portrayed in various mythologies.
It is believed that it was the only animal in Eden that resisted temptation, which made it an eternal being.

This animal symbolizes practically the same thing for different cultures: immortality and resurrection.

A Jewish tradition states that the chol was the only animal in Eden that resisted temptation and preserved eternal life.

The Egyptians modified this story a bit and gave this bird the name Phoenix, a word that refers to its red color, considering it a fabulous animal, a kind of demigod.

According to tradition, the Phoenix, represented the sun that dies at night and is reborn in the morning, for this reason this bird was consumed by the action of its own fire every 500 years, and a new and young Phoenix rose from its ashes. .

This myth spread widely among the Greeks, who gave it the name Phoenicoperus, which means red wings, an appellation that spread throughout Roman Europe.

During the Roman Empire the first Christians, influenced by the Hellenic cults, made this unique creature a living symbol of immortality and resurrection.

Another symbolism given to the Phoenix is of hope, as it represents the hope that must never die in man.

This painting shows a different image of the Phoenix Bird from the traditional one, a magical moment that combines two opposites: water and fire, united in the reflections of precious crystals, offered by an ethereal spirit.
